Here at FashionBlast we love everything fashion, but, we have to admit that as much as we love everything fashion we have a special place in our hearts for our shoes. A recent study revealed that women over the age of 40 own an average of 19 pairs of shoes. That seems about right to us, although one of the girls here admits to owning between 35 and 40 (and has made us promise we won’t snitch to her hubby). The most famous shoe maven of all time had to be Imelda Marcos who was reported to own over 3,000 pairs of high-fashion shoes.

(The same study revealed that the average number of handbags owned by women over 40 was 11.)
